About the Founders

Luis Saguier, Guido Grinbaum, Mariano Nejamkis, Daniel Serra and Gabriel Dantur met in the year 1984 when they were studying Engineering at "Universidad de Buenos Aires".

Once they got their degrees, they kept sharing the same interests in their professional experience, for they all chose Marketing as their career specialization. The five reached Management positions in different companies: Luis Saguier in Philip Morris, Guido Grinbaum in Unilever and Pepsi, Mariano Nejamkis in CTI Claro and Anticipar AFJP, Daniel Serra in Cadbury, Molinos and CocaCola, and Gabriel Dantur in Molinos, Ferrero and Kimberly Clark.

They also manage to develope their own personal start ups: Luis Saguier took over the family business, La Nación; Guido Grinbaum was involved in the creation of Grincom, DeRemate.com, Covedisa; Daniel Serra took part in Patagon.com and built up Visual Mexico, Gabriel Dantur founded Bonvivir.com, Agrupate.com and Canjeo.com.

Twenty years later, the five engineers got together again to lead DRIDCO, one of the most successful Internet businesses in Latin-America.

DRIDCO was founded on March 2008 due to the merger of two companies: DeRemate Inc. and Interactivos y Digitales SA. DeRemate.com is an online trading platform that sold its operations in Argentina and Chile to S.A. La Nación on December 2005. Luis Saguier, CEO of La Nación made the transaction possible, for he had the aim to create a classified Internet Company.
